Comparing drops is not as easy as it was before. As some have said there are shortages of staff to cover weekday shifts and so there are less shows and some theaters not opening to later. This has depressed weekday numbers. Its also not summer there where weekday numbers were better. For tomorrow Tuesday bumps (20 to 25% before) are not as big now (10 to 15%). So taking all that into account the HK hold was decent. Edited October 19, 2021 by Ronin46 1

Krissykins
Yeh they are really bad. I thought it was only Halloween Kills at first, but Venom and Addams Family both up only 3% on their third Tuesdays. Strange.
Cooper Legion
Yeah either a weak Tues and/or a strong mon (though they looked normal at the time vs sun, so lean toward the former). As long as Mon:Wed holds are normal doesn’t really matter though.
Eastwood47
Is it a safe assumption that the Peacock streaming service has siphoned off any traditional repeat business theaters would see for Halloween Kills in favor of a home experience which is far cheaper? I have to wonder if that too will factor in a bit more on the sophomore weekend where you might also see the repeat business. Bad WOM will likely send new viewers to the streaming service just to save money if they remain curious.
