Just praying for this not to collapse like the flash right now. Don't think it will. The older casual crowd this movie will attract is different than the fan boy flash audience. Also  Indy's only baggage really is the reputation of a 15 year old movie.

These sales numbers are extraordinarily high, no? In that pretty much any comp - including MCU - is going to point to something around $20M in previews?


Any particular reason why this chain would over-index on Indy to such a degree?

Not quite that high, high single digits to low double digits for MCU comps. Drafthouse has some strict age, phone, and tardiness policies, so they bring in more of the older audiences.
