how are the pre-sales for sonic 2 and Morbius Doing? i don't have that great of a grasp of what the some of the number above me mean

An interesting dichotomy for sure, though of course that percentage will shrink in the days ahead. These preview days are really getting out of hand.

Marry Me's (7.9M OW) final presales number was 210.

Dog (14.9M OW) had on Wednesday of its release week only 47 sold tickets in 6 theaters.

 

The Girls Night Out shows on Tuesday can't have a big impact on my Thursday presales number because they take place in only 2 of my 7 theaters. This special had today in sum only 22 tickets sold.

For the Date Night Out on Wednesday it had today 71 sold tickets in 5 theaters. For comparison, Death on the Nile had 2 days later, on Wednesday for Wednesday, 179 sold tickets but that was in only 3 theaters.

Overall not bad for The Lost City but also not really convincing. I agree with most here that the trailers look nice and so I'm a bit surprised. Maybe the WOM from the shows on Tuesday and Wednesday will help or this is just a walk-up film like e.g. Dog.

I see 25 shows at MTC2 for "girls night out" Lost City shows.  I got data for 24 and it sold 528/2523 3317.68. Not bad but ticket prices seem low due to tuesday discounts. From larger BO perspective this will make little difference.
