I’m cautiously optimistic about this film. Alien franchise needs this to be great. This is make or break imo. Praying for Prey type of reception for it.

That was 12 years ago, Adjusted number is 69 million.

 

Given the 90M dollar budget this has any number higher than 38m is a big win, specially if the WOM is strong and has good legs.

Not confirmed, but what I have read online searching for info. It’s seems 70-90m is a good estimate. If that is true then it’s sure to make profit I’d say.

The only budget info out there is that they spent 40M on production in Budapest.

There's no chance it cost anywhere near 90 or 100 mln.

After watching new Variety interview with Alvarez and cast, I just hope it flops somehow, even if it's unlikely, that's it.

Prometheus and Covenant sucked though. Especially Prometheus.

Especially Prometheus? Prometheus is 10 times better movie than Covenant across the board, only Fassbender is consistently great in both and the only saving grace of Covenant, everything else is a major downgrade from Prometheus, from visuals and actors to story and music.
