marveldcfox
What a giant flop this movie is overseas. Makes you wonder whether fox did proper research before greenlighting the sequel without Smith. My under 80M domestic and under 250M overseas predictions are coming true.
juni78ukr
Weekend estimates. Only $3.47 mln ID2. Well below expectations. A total disaster. Finding Dory dropped by 49%. $6.31 mln total. Will be only 3rd or 4th best Pixar movie in Russia. Now You See Me 2 finished 3rd with $951k. 937.5 mln RUB or $14.53 mln total. Will pass billion RUB after all. Conjuring 2 started 12% better than the first movie but it is already falling behind. Neighbors 2 totally bombed. Made only 1/3 of original gross. http://www.kinobusiness.com/news/kassa-uik-enda-23-26-iyunya-2016-onlayn/
Onri
Actuals: http://www.kinobusiness.com/kassovye_sbory/weekend/2016/26.06.2016/usd/ Sequels occupied top4, I just can't stand it ID2 opening weekend was 5% above Dory's one, but monday is 15% below Meanwhile Zootopia almost returned to top20 on 17th weekend Oo And it doubles Dory's per show average in gross with twice cheaper tickets. 96 people per show 4 months after opening, how can it be? Onri
Actuals rose for everything, but still slow weekend. The Legend of Tarzan disappointed with less than 700K admission at 34K show times. The BFG did fine for such movie with 573K at 26K. Actuals: http://www.kinobusiness.com/kassovye_sbory/weekend/2016/03.07.2016/usd/ Now You See Me 2 officially crossed 1 billion rubles mark on monday. It will reach 4 million admission later this week. 2016 billion rubles grossers (through sunday): 2275M Zootopia 1767M Deadpool 1503M The Crew (local) 1465M Warcraft 1355M The Jungle Book 1107M The Revenant 1091M Captain America: Civil War 995M Now You See Me 2 "Empty" weekend with no blockbusters ahead before Ice Age storm. But many moderate releases will hit the theaters: Central Intelligence, Me Before You, Cell, The Shallows, Genius, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and Blackway. Onri
Me Before You, The Shallows and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates all doing well above forecasts! The Legend of Tarzan and The BFG both holding great, but Me Before You wins thursday and can be on top for the weekend! First weekend predictions based on early thursday data (by kinobusiness and kinometro): Me Before You 1.6-1.7M$ Tarzan 1.5-1.6M$ (-50%) The Shallows 1.3-1.4M$ The BFG 1.3-1.4M$ (-35%) Central Intelligence 0.5M$ Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates 0.5M$ Edited July 8, 2016 by Onri

Onri
Really good holds and strong openings on no-blockbuster weekend. Actuals: http://www.kinobusiness.com/kassovye_sbory/weekend/2016/10.07.2016/usd/ Tarzan remains on top with 1.8M$ and excellent -44% decrease in gross while it lost 38% of show times (from 34K to 21K). Me Before You slowed down after winning thursday and finished at #2 with 1.5M$. But it had best per show (14K) average in top8 and second best in top20 after Now You See Me 2. MBF on OW grosed 23% more than entire run of The Fault in Our Stars in rubles (and 1% more in admission) The BFG was #3 with 1.4M$, but won weekend in admission, became the only one over 400K with 3 more movies over 300K mark. Also it had the best hold (-31%) in top10 and second best in top20 after ... Warcraft The Shallows impressed with 1.4M$, but it was not enough for top3. Central Intelligence and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates finished really close with 0.7M$. CI won in gross by just 0.4% and MaDNWD in admission by 2%. Only MaDNWD really overperformed and it grossed in 4 days more than Neighbors 2 in 3 weeks. Next weekend we're waiting for the storm called Ice Age: Collision Course. Ice Age franchise is huge in Russia: Continental Drift and Dawn of the Dinosaurs are #11 and #19 all time in rubles and #8 and #5 in admission. Onri
I totally forgot about this sweet couple. They were fighting for second place all time, but Zootopia passed them. Welcome: 1'866'431'191 rubles (#3 all time) Minions 1'866'339'489 rubles (#4 all time) Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens It's just ridiculous. Difference between #3 and #4 all time is less than 0,005% ! I really thought that SW will be pushed through Minions result, but looks like these two are done now. At least until re-releases, I believe SW still have tiny chances P.S. Minions had 2,6M more admission and are #4 all time with 8,4M. SW VII are #18 Edited July 13, 2016 by Onri
