Insidious 2 dropped by 3%. 525k Monday + 505k Tuesday. 5.66m total. Gravity definitely outperformed What do you expect for Stalingrad 3D? Do you think it can be successful? Can you perceive some hype? It's all very complicated. From press screenings some people liled it, but some definitely don't. Some really believe it could be a major russian breakout. Some are laughing at this. Predictions are all over the board from 12-14 mln to 30-35 mln total. It would be a great beginning for a Russian movie, but such a number wouldn't be enough to offset the budget ($30m), they need it to gross more. Even now there are few movies able to cross this threshold, we got no movies beyond $50m this year yet, and only The Hobbit 2 can do it.
