Fack Ju Göhte 3 is now the most successful release of 2017. It's not yet sure if Thor3 can overtake Thor2 but I'd say it's 75% probable. Next weekend: HappyDeath Day and Justice League are the most interesting openers. Justice League should take #1, even a 25% drop from Batman vs. Superman will put it safely above 400k. Happy Death Day is in an unlucky slot but Top5 should still be possible. 1
el sid
Some Thursday estimates from insidekino.de/forum: New releases: Justice League: 36k (released in 525 theaters, very mixed reviews between 2 and 7.5/10) Happy Deathday: 10.5k (330, mixed reviews, mostly ok) The Big Sick: 1k (105, good and very good reviews) The holdovers: FJG 3: 31k (actuals last Thursday 50k) Murder on the Orient Express: 21.5k (27k) Bad Moms 2: 19.5k (22k) Thor 3: 12.5k (28k) – if that holds it‘s clearly suffering due to the JG release Jigsaw: 4k Simpel: 2k (2.1k) Suburbicon: 1k (2.6k) So according to these estimates it seems that JL was bit muted today. And the other reports point in the same direction. But of course we have to wait until tomorrow to see how many walk ups it had. At least most holdovers did fine. Aristis
Wow, if those numbers and estimates hold it could be as low as $3,5M OW... I have hoped for more and hope that I'm wrong...

Brainbug
Honestly, every time the JL trailer showed, people around me (and myself) laughed at it. SH movies arent that popular here to begin with, but the marketing certainly didnt help JL to generate any excitement.

I also really hope for a bit more. Maybe the walk ups are good or it will improve over the weekend. Mark_G from insidekino.de predicts over 300k admissions. But yes, as mentioned, Germany isn't a top market for SH movies and probably the short timescale between Thor 3 and JL didn't help either. IndustriousAngel
final estimates: FJG3 stays at 350k, JL down to 225k, Murder 210k.
George Parr
Weekend estimates: #1 FjG3 357.5k (5.225m now) #2 Justice League 215k / 240k with previews #3 Murder on the Orient Express 207.5k #4 Bad Moms 2 150k #5 Thor 3 147.5k #6 Happy Death Day 115k / 130k with previews #7 Hexe Lilli 60k What is kind of shocking to me is the start Justice League had in Austria. Not the number itself, 31k is probably better than the number in Germany, but the fact that it opened behind the second weekend of Bad Moms 2!
