juni78ukr
It they wanted the international hit they would make an english language movie. I guess they also spent some money for marketing in three gerrman speaking markets. Probable a million or two. So It's really bad. As I know Wilden Kerle movies or Vorstadtkrokodile movies were really cheap. And they made much more than Rubinrot. Our buyers from Cannes even said something about increased budget for sequel. IndustriousAngel
Final weekend estimates see FF6 at 750k admissions, well over 1mil total. GG and Epic fight for #2 with 175k each, Epic of course lagging far behind money-wise. STiD 125k, about 50% drop, IM3 drops even harder. Theater-owners, rejoice! The three films opening widest this weekend are After Earth, Snitch and Before Midnight; but none of them should dethrone the leading duo. With better wetter this weekend, most family films will see steep drops.
IndustriousAngel
First weekend trend for Germany: #1: HO3 - 425k admissions #2: AE - 240k #3: FF6 - 175k If true, AE will open to about the same numbers as Oblivion, and should see similar drops. Both rather underwhelming. FF6 is dropping a bit harder than I expected.

lab276
Talk about a horrible weekend … bad drops and soft openings. Ok, we had two very strong weeks, now it's summer business as usual.Still up on last year, which is the main thing.
IndustriousAngel
A positive fact in an otherwise lackluster year for Austria's cinemas: May 2013 had more admissions than every May back to 2006.
