HUNGER GAMES: TBOSAS, NATAL T-1

T-1 Cinemark: 8 showings, 2348  seats, 695 sold (29.6%)

T-1 Cinepolis: 8 showings, 1000 seats, 247 sold (24.07%)

T-1 Moviecom: 3 showings, 310 seats, 83 sold (26.77%)

T-1 Cineflix: 6 showings, 1418 seat, 178 sold (12.55%)

T-1 Total: 25 showings, 5076 seats, 1203 sold (23.7%)

COMPS:

Fast X (98.04%) - R$4.9M

Barbie (16.96%) - R$3.88M

Marvels (589.71%) - R$11.2M

Flash (260.95%) - R$5.61M

FNAF (150.56%) - R$5.27M

From the movies I've tracked, this is the third strongest movie I've tracked and the second best from a pre-release, very very close to Fast X. The comps makes me believe on a wednesday around R$5M, giving it's a holiday that could push to be more frontloaded as the usual, but we still gonna see something very big. Looking forward to the numbers!

Napoleon started its pre-sales two days ago. In my city, it have sold more than 8x of what The Marvels sold during the same period.

Spoiler

And THIS is a clickbait lol. This is really not that big of a deal for Napoleon, it sold 17 tickets, is just that Marvels sold barely anything at first. Just curious to see if people will see just the first part and not this second part lol

10 Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie 124.000 -57.2% 26.400.000 5.830 1.470.000

873k tickets were sold and R$19M on box office, down 6.4% from last weekend.

Well, that was disapointing, more than 1/3 from the opening of Hunger Games came from the opening day alone. I was expecting it to be frontloaded but not THAT frontloaded. Figures.

Marvels had a big drop as expected but at least it should pass 1 million admissions after all. Trolls 3 despite the opening saw amazing legs and should become the best selling of the trilogy next weekend. Ó Paí, Ó 2 had previews in Bahia and had the best average from the top 10.

Next weekend is time for Napoleon, Ó Paí, Ó 2, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, The New Toy, Não tem Volta and Durval Discos.

NAPOLEON, NATAL T-1

T-1 Cinemark: 4 showings, 1187  seats, 40 sold (3.37%)

T-1 Cinepolis: 5 showings, 389 seats, 31 sold (7.97%)

T-1 Moviecom: 3 showings, 316 seats, 13 sold (4.11%)

T-1 Cineflix: 4 showings, 665 seat, 10 sold (1.5%)

T-1 Total: 16 showings, 2557 seats, 94 sold (3.68%)

Comps:

Oppenheimer (21.03%): R$0,5M

The Marvels (46.08%): R$0.9M

I wished I had tracked KotFM, it would be the best comp. Pre-sales are low but honestly, in context doesn't look all that bad? Hystorical epics are hardly something that catch Brazil's eyes, the fact that it is selling something at all on the advance tickets is actually kinda neat. Not looking at any signs of breaking out (again, pre-sales are low), but since KotFM managed to become a small success over here, why not this too?

10 My Big Fat Greek Weeding 3 110.000 --- 110.000 6.240 6.240

R$17.49M was made on the box offfice this weekend and 832k on the admissions.

Napoleon and Hunger Games are sniffing each other this weekend, the first won on box office and the second on admissions. That was actually a pretty decent opening for Napoleon for the kind of movie it is, it opened with more than double of Killers of the Flower Moon. Hunger Games have passed the total of the first movie, while it is out of the question for it to pass the previous two movies, it could still pass Catching Fire before the end of its run. Trolls 3 is now the best selling of the trilogy, amazing legs, and Greek Wedding 3 bombed, hard, like really REALLY hard. Is not even close to the first two. We also had two local movies in the top 10 this weekend.

Next weekend releases Digimon Adventure 02, As Aventuras de Poliana, All Fun and Games, NCT Nation, Aristotle and Dante, The Retirement Plan and Pedágio.

@ThatWaluigiDudeHey, Do you have any

prediction for Beyonce's movie? can it do well there?

From the look of it Beyonce looks pretty good to enter the list's top 5. R$5M+ could happen if they get generous with the amount of screens, it doesn't have that many screens on pre-sale right now but it's still too far away so we could tell how big the rollout will be.

Thanks for this but do you think she can surpass Taylor or MJ?
