What I love in this movie? The songs, that brought me back the Disney from the 90s, it was very pleasant to watch and hear, and I was very surprised by the prince, I didn't expect him to be such a jerk, it was very well done.

The songs are all-time great.  :)

Not every movie needs a villain. That's the reason why superhero movies are so similar, there is a super evil villain, who alway wants to destroy the world and the hero must defeat him.

Not every movie, but an animated movie or a comicbook movie without a villain is like a comedy without humor, a horror movie without blood or an action movie without action...They're part of the package, and that's what I love, I always need a super villain, and when this villain is EXTREMELY powerful such as Zod in Man of Steel my heart is racing

Gay people have some kind of power? I'm confused.

"Don't let them in, don't let them see

Be the good girl you always have to be

Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know

Well, now they know!

Let it go, let it go

Can't hold it back anymore

Let it go, let it go

Turn away and slam the door"

I need to say more?

Ok, explain to me why Superman's parents couldn't leave the planet before it exploded. Or how Zod become free.

Also this scene is stupid as fuck:

fovuBu0.gif

All of this is explained in the movie.

Clark's parents decided not to leave because of their ideals (related to those bloodlines and artificially conceived Kryptonians thing). There's even a scene where Clark asks Jor-El why they didn't go to Earth with him, and he explains it.

Why Zod became free: the destruction of Krypton damaged the Phantom Zone, which was some kind of a prison ship that was put just outside of Krypton. (Remember: Jor-El, Lara and Zod had a theory about the destruction of the planet but the 'government' didn't believe that would happen, so they didn't know Krypton would be destroyed and that the prisoners would be free.) Also explained in the movie.

And there's nothing wrong with the tornado scene. Jonathan was terribly afraid of what would happen if people discover about Clark. He'd rather die than let his son be exposed. We already know that Clark is a God and that nobody could take him away, but remember: by that time, Jonathan didn't know what Clark was, or what Clark was capable of. Any parent would do what Jonathan did.

Man Of Steel is really great, all the problems people point out are just a matter of paying attention.
