TAR is far more like a French art movie than a traditional Oscar bait movie.

I always watch whatever the biggest debut of each week is. 

 

Chosen has a non-zero chance of catching up with The Menu. It's only 10% ahead and Chosen is still showing throughout the week in its key locations. But my city's last showing of Chosen is tonight at 7PM, lol. 

 

I'm gonna see Chosen tonight on the off chance that it passes it, since it will be my last chance to watch.

Firestarter beat EEAAO on the 3-day 3.8M vs 3.3M, then EEAAO caught up to it in the Mon - Thurs. 

 

The ratio is a lot narrower with The Chosen and The Menu. Demographics for the Chosen could lead to a bit more week day theater going, for all we know.
