which leaks are those?

I think nia da costa probably wont go full Taika

I just googled the director, Nia Dacosta, and she has directed 2 movies previously. Both bombed and audiences didn't like them.

Has the MCU got cocky?

I don't know that it's a "leak" but Yahoo entertainment says this is the plot shown at D23 and written about by Variety...

"In footage shown at D23, it's revealed that the film takes place directly after the events of Ms. Marvel, which shows Kamala Khan and Carol Danvers swapping places with each other after the former uses her powerful bangle.

Spoiler

In the upcoming film, the three superheroes swap places with each other every time they use their powers, leading them to work together, per Variety."

Spoiler

I don't see how that's gonna work well in the movie...I mean, Captain Marvel was not Iron Man, with a charisma and ego that worked with Spidey being "the newbie"...and neither was Monica Rambeau in Wandavision, who also doesn't have Strange's ego.  So, while Ms. Marvel did have Spidey's youth and youthful mistakes and absolute adoration of the older supes, you don't have the Strange/Iron Man/Spidey combo where this kinda body-swapping might be funny b/c neither powerful hero has been set up with that kinda personality/demeanor.  And none of them even know each other or have met.  I mean, Feige has said they are going for that kinda repeat set up.  So, to me, this seems like it's gonna be cringey (or wildly out of character for all of them which would tick off the uber-fans).  And I think that explains the summer slip - someone is trying to figure out how to make the 1st act less cringey (or out of character for the folks) b/c how can you thread this needle without cringe, derivativeness, or out of character moments, unless you tighten it WAY up and shorten it and get to the plot...

So, like I said on Jan 1, I didn't see universal critical acclaim coming for Ant 3...ummm...without a serious reshoot/rethink, I don't see universal acclaim coming for The Marvels, either...

I've put things in spoiler blocks even though Feige and Variety have shared the info, just in case folks want to be surprised...and who knows, maybe I'll be surprised, since they do have 9-10 months for reshoots and rethinks...

Edit to Add:  Then again, I also said I didn't know how you handle 30 supers in Infinity War...and the Russos overwhelmingly proved me wrong with one of my Top 5 MCU movies.  Then again, the Russos had a history of being great at MCU...and how often does lightning strike when you have to work with a crazy, shouldn't ever work concept set up going into a movie?  Then again, I said the same about Eternals being a concept set up that couldn't work...and I was right there...
