How is 80% collapse from the predecessor a reflection of extremely well? That being said, that Brazilian number look ok. And in Malaysia too, Aquaman is selling good across the country. If going by the local sales, I would have thought Aquaman is a 700m+ worldwide grosser.

I think Asia/Latin America are doing ok. Europe wont be good but generally rejects SH movies. It cannot be compared to 2018 movie as that seem to be a different era when generic SH movies were breaking out big. Now the genre has gone cold. 

 

If I have to guess 300m WW (100 Dom/200 OS). Another DCEU flop but this project was doomed the moment Gunn decided to start fresh. They should have opened this last year before the annoucement. Plus hearing Mamoa is terrible and just did this for paycheck.

Two different markets. If every Hollywood movie was doing as well as it was in 2018 and Aquaman was the only rotten egg, then it would be bad. But in comparison to every other China release, it really isn't terrible.
