the highest day was 116000 admissions for toho during GW w 10% more seats. ave tix price will be 11.50 instead of 13.50Edroger is saying this is as good or better as that day, 90-100k is possible for toho x 5(mrkt share) x $11.50= 5.75m would be the highest. Tohi has done 80k on a non holiday sunday. Im starting to believe it should do at least that based on the presales. 4.6m4.6 - 5.7m80 - 100k toho adm140 -175k TMK1 adm400 -500k total admIll post the 20m runsthere will be 33 updates. In dollars, yeah. I expect the non-Japanese sources will look at the $201m for Titanic and $230m for SA and announce when Frozen has passed those. I believe when it does so it'll be the highest grossing film in any single non-US territory. It may already be the highest grossing non-local film in such situations.

My thoughts on Disney's decision to release Frozen in BluRay in July.

 

Frozen's run isn't something that would go unnoticed by Disney. For example, in May 2011, Tangled was shown as a double feature with Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Why would Disney do that since there were many other Disney films released between Tangled and Pirates 4: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/studio/chart/?yr=2011&view=company&view2=calendar&timeframe=yty&studio=buenavista.htm&sort=open&order=ASC&p=.htm

Even a detail such as this didn't go unnoticed by Disney so my guess is that they are so confident about Frozen that they believe it will reach HP7:DH2 (WW) and SA (Japan) anyway, although, in my humble opinion, I think they're pushing their luck.
