Maybe if they want to attract more casual audiences they should do more big hero 6 animate sequels or live action BH6 that connect in the MCU

I think it's only competition, at the end covid damaged only South Korea and Germany (of the 20 biggest markets)

 

And perhaps Japan also teaches us that with a serious competition Spider Man would never have made these numbers, but who knows...

Europe loves Pokemon 1999 so much that no Japanese Anime Film could dethrone it. I hope that JJK lives up to spirit of every French man &give us our 1st 1M admissions in Europe in recent years.
