Doraemon stayed on top with ¥281M /229K attendees, reaching ¥800M /660K attendees!! Likely to hit ¥3.0B, though it has poorer weekdays.

 

The Last 10 Years shows a repeat of 2nd WK with ¥227M (an increase of ¥6M from OW), reaching ¥900M /720K attendees. We are seeing a repeat broadcast of Flower from 2021.

 

The Batman as usual, started at 3rd, Audience preferred Family films over the weekend, but extra lengthy is likely to hurt more than expected 🙂. WK : ¥247M /152K attendees for a 3-days Total of ¥370M /230K attendees!

 

Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0 drop to 4th had a great increase over it's 12th Weekend!! Cumulative Total reached ¥12.71B /9.07M attendees!! That's 21st in history of Japanese Cinema!! Will it defeat Frozen II (¥13.37B)???

Actually, sequel drop here harder (not talking about Franchise with ATG at 3.0B-4.0B) Frozen II was biggest Foreign anime opening here. The former one was at ¥25.5B, an it's drop from prequel was very wide. I would say that the film didn't live up with the WOM and just crash landed after big opening.

 

We some recent films that did poor like Venom 2 (¥1.9B) lesser than Venom (¥2.25B) though Venom 2 OW was bigger than the former.

 

One of baddest victim, Matrix Resurrection that didn't even reach the OW of its former films (1,2 &3) as finals.

 

Again, Boss Baby 2 Family Business didn't even reached ¥1.0B while the former one made ¥3.44B.

 

Luckily, I expect Dr. Strange 2 to improve over Dr Strange (2017) 's ¥1.87B due to Golden Week holidays
