                    TWR                    HDYL?

OW         ¥960m(2 days)     ¥1.626bn (3 days)

2nd         ¥2.85bn                ¥3.62bn

3rd          ¥4.36bn                ¥4.69bn

4th          ¥5.62bn                ¥5.48bn

5th          ¥7.28bn                ¥6.235bn

6th          ¥8bn                     ¥6.983bn

7th          ¥8.85bn

8th          ¥9.77bn

9th          ¥10.6bn

There are some stablisation in HDYL? in recent days after the release of marketing material during Obon. Should have lifted them before the Obon. The gap with TWR will continue to go wider because this is when TWR received late bump after the retirement news from Miyazaki. I doubt HDYL? can play catch-up game here.

@Issac Newton Any inkling of Universal submitting Oppenheimer for release?

A source at Toho-Towa says that "The ultimate authority is in Universal hands, they currently doesn't have plans for Japan."

They didn't even sell screening rights neither to any Independent Chain. So, before looking into any possible release date (or clearing release approval) Oppenheimer 1st need a Distributor and which is possible only when Universal consider releasing the film here.

Looking IMAX schedule here, Theatre are booked for film through out October 20 (The Creator). If there is any hope, we need wait until November.

PS: Toho-Towa is the sole distributor of Universal/Paramount Works in Japan.
