the man with no name certainly does not .

I agree, but I don't think many have seen it. I did vote for it, but I don't think it is the best trilogy since each film is independent. LOTR is what I consider the best trilogy of them all.

Indiana Jones is no longer a trilogy. Neither are the Alien, Terminator, Die Hard, Mission Impossible, or Pirates of the Caribbean series. Bourne is about to no longer be a trilogy too.

I agree. A lot of the movies on this list are no longer trilogies.

Thanks for everyone who took time to vote.

I'll do another poll after the TDKR has been out a few weeks.

Not sure if I'll do only five and vote for one or do ten and vote for 3.

The five would look like this: Star Wars (OT), Indiana Jones, Toy Story, The Lord of the Rings, and The Dark Knight.

[*]The Lord of the Rings (TFOTR, TTT, TROTK) 2001-2003 (27 votes [22.13%])

[*]Star Wars Original (ANH, TESB, ROTJ) 1977-1983 (20 votes [16.39%])

    [*]Toy Story (1, 2, 3) 1995-2010 (14 votes [11.48%])

[*]Indiana Jones (ROTLA, TTOD, TLC) 1981-1989 (13 votes [10.66%])
