Just disappointing given the large start. The film will still gross more than Homecoming barely and that'll be great. But now the increases aren't that good % wise they are bad (but in absulute numbers still good) just it looked like it would be doing better. Should get 300k tomorrow and 400k final, giving a final similar to Black Panther, but without Culture day (I think BP opened then). Overall absolute figures are very good, it's just the presale patterns have been poor, with frontloading and not great increases day-on-day. Expect a similar performance to Black Panther at this point, although perhaps not quite as same distribution on OW as BP opened on holiday (again, I think). (I wasn't here for avatar) As for BP you are right, the OW from BP was strange (in comparison with the normal Wed, Thur, Fri, sat Sun patern).
