19:20 was 202k, 18:20 was 192k, still steadily adding 10k+ an hour.

Slowing down a little towards the evening. Thinking something like this at the moment, perhaps just eclipsing 500k for the day (if the 47% from last year holds up)

Edit: Naah, its 19:20.

SK numbers do not see a bump in the evening like it does in China. On weekends the numbers starts slowing down from early evening itself and are strongest in late afternoon. 

 

For today numbers are already slowing down. They were 11k per hour a few hours earlier then fell to 10k and last update was 9k. 

 

Btw that last update was at 8:20pm at 211k

You were right, evening slowing down a lot, I have adjusted and looks like it'll maybe just miss out on 500k

Definitely under, by about 120-150k admissions. HOWEVER, BP had a holiday boost on its OD, CM does not have that.

I enjoyed the movie. but seems like wom is not strong. cgv egg is at 91%, not good but I guess some fagile male are giving rotten as it's 88% male, 95% female.

and female/male ratio is normal range for marvel or any movie in korea.

22:20 actual was 224,000! Looking likely to be this outcome now.

Captain Marvel debut at #1 in South Korea with $3.5mn on 2015 locations. 2nd Biggest Non Holiday & 3rd Biggest Opening day for Standalone MCU film after Black Panther $4.47mn (Holiday) and Spider-man: Homecoming $3.76mn. Heading for $25mn Approx opening weekend.

So it will round up to around 463k probably. Not bad but with 200k more ps's than AMATW (I don't know if korea has summer days when AMATW was released it 'only' did 60k more. Might be very presale heavy. So lets see what the drop will be tomorrow.

Yeah, seems to be pre-sale heavy. I'm also not discounting the possibility that some people (esp. men) might have decided not to watch because of the toxic Naver reviews of the man-babies.

Well an other thing that I was thinking was, what if a decent amount of the ps's where for womens day and that inflated the presales for the movie and we might see a bigger than usual jump on friday and a worse jump on sat.
