The Croods looks destined to reach the $300 million overseas mark. The animated film hasn't slowed down since its release, adding another $23.4 million this weekend to take its overseas cume to $274.5 million. $6 million of the weekend's figures came from its opening in China. The Croods has currently grossed $429.4 million globally.

Lets see.

 

It did 23.5M from last week exluding China, dropping sub 25% (wkn) from holdovers, about 38% weekly drop. These drops continue, it will finish with 310M from markets exluding China without problem. Another $30M from China is possible. And it still has Japan to open. [And we havent counted the May holiday boosts everywhere there are May holidays !]

 

All said, $350M OS final is doable IMO.

DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods added $13.1m through Fox International from 7,865 screens in 67 markets to reach $290m.

 

tell that to Gitesh:

Croods broke $300M intl this wknd sitting at $308M. Worldwide at $471M. Will crack half billion soon.

DreamWorks Animation and Fox's The Croods continued to make gains in its sixth weekend, upping its domestic total to $163 million and placing No. 5. The 3D animated film jumped the $300 million mark internationally for a worldwide total of $471 million, including $18 million from China.

290m OS seems way to low while 308m seems way to much .... 

Yeah, both those seem off. If TC was $274.5 after last weekend it seems like the week and weekend numbers  should put it around 300.

The 274.5 didn't include any of the China grosses at that point did it?
