Incarnadine
So that puts it at $229.118 mil WW so far. It looks like The Croods has a decent shot at $500 mil WW.
A Marvel Fanboy
Yup, 500M WW is on track, biggest release of 2013 before IM3.
SentryTrans
500M WW will be enough for a sequel.
A Marvel Fanboy
Leave sequel alone ...
SentryTrans
Leave sequel alone ... Katzenberg will need a lot of sequels!
JCS
$150.4M before the weekend.
A Marvel Fanboy
It should be by Wed.

IndustriousAngel
Seems to have exceptional WOM ... In Germany, weekend 3 could be the biggest yet for Croods!
A Marvel Fanboy
Yes probably. Its by Monday. DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods had raced to $150.4m by Apr 1 through Fox International and arrives this weekend in Poland, Taiwan and Thailand. Incarnadine
So, heading into the weekend the WW total stands at $255.1, TC should blow past $300 this weekend. Just keeps rolling along.
A Marvel Fanboy
500M WW is locked.

A Marvel Fanboy
With drops like these, 600mil isn't impossible. Unexpected hit! Sequel arise!! Would need 400M OS ....
IndustriousAngel
Well, it's been doing stable numbers in Germany for the last three weekends, so WOM seems to be perfect. In fact, weekend #3 seems to be the best yet.
A Marvel Fanboy
Then we need to value other markets before bring on the talk of 400M.
zackzack
Well, it's been doing stable numbers in Germany for the last three weekends, so WOM seems to be perfect. In fact, weekend #3 seems to be the best yet.ICE AGE persistent success overseas is baffling to me. So if Europe/Latin America love ICE AGE, they would love this. ICE AGE (2012) earned $345 million from Europe + Russia (Mojo data, I am sure it earned slightly more than this) and $170 from South America. A Marvel Fanboy
Croods doing gangbusters OS makes me again confirm that FOX is the strongest studio at oversea marketing. Had CROODS in the hand of Paramount, it probably would not touch HTTYD numbers (277M) OS. CROODS is weaker in quality than HTTYD and doesnot come on the ride of Avatar. IndustriousAngel
Truth be told, marketing was not that powerful here - probably the reason why it manages to increase from weekend to weekend. Strong marketing usually leads to a bigger opening and accordingly bigger drops.
Tower
34.1M weekend 206.8 OS Another nice hold.
