baumer
Geez, what are you smoking Baumer? :)TCM (2003) was good, I agree. Friday was alright mainly because of Julianna Guill's boobs. But the Nightmare & Hitcher remakes were garbage.Btw, are you in the industry or something? You seem to have a good rapport with Brad Fuller. I agree that Nightmare and Hitcher were not on par with the other two, but they were imo, still decent enough films. I like horror more than most people so I can admire most horror films in some way.No I'm not in the industry but a few years ago, Brad was on twitter a lot and for some reason he responded to my tweets almost every time. I asked him for his email address and he gave it to me. He even sent me a signed Friday the 13th t-shirt which i have in my closet. He seems like a very humble and cool guy. Ozymandias
The Hills Have Eyes was terrible, even worse than the Wrong Turns. The Descent (2005) really disgusted me...The Hills Have Eyes 1 and 2 more unintentional comedies for me. Everytime one of the mutants came on screen, I couldn't get "HEY U GUYZ!" from The Goonies out of my head.I think The Descent however, was a masterpiece. I saw it on sell at Wallmart the other day and I'm thinking of buying it.
baumer
Even The Descent 2 is pretty frikkin scary.

Heretic
While it's more sci-fi than horror, The Faculty is a fantastic film. One of my favourites.
The Toymaker
The Faculty is a great film, but it's not scary in the slightest. More of a teenage thriller than anything horror-oriented.
baumer
Yea, The Faculty is fun, but not scary at all.
Heretic
Yeah, which is why I said it's not really a horror. It isn't scary at all, but it's still regarded as sci-fi horror mystery, and its incredibly entertaining and very well written. baumer
I love your list BKB. Some truly great films on there and The Howling is freakin awesome."I want to give you a piece of my mind."
The Toymaker
I'm fucking GLAD that Hollywood hasn't made a sequel to that classic. Dog Soldiers is a great, great, great film. Anyway, I don't think it's Hollywood that even made it. It's a British movie

baumer
Don Niam Singray's list: 15. Sinister (2012) Really creepy, but with a crappy ending. 14. The Descent (2005) Slightly overrated, but still solid, claustrophobic horror. 13. Trick 'r Treat (2007) Oozes with lovely childhood Halloween atmosphere. 12. Dawn of the Dead (2004) More action than horror, but great entertainment. Classic opening titles. 11. Saw (2004) The only good Saw, with a great twist. 10. Creep (2004) Does a great job of capitalizing on its creepy London underground setting. 9. Joy Ride (2001) Little seen, nail biting thriller. 8. The Strangers (2008) Unforgiving and bleak, with a "what you don't see" approach. 7. The House of the Devil (2009) Slow burner, with awesome 80's style cinematography. They don't make them like this anymore. 6. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) Best of the Platinum Dunes bunch, with a strong central performance from Jessica Biel. 5. The Hills Have Eyes (2006) Brutal and unrelenting. Alex Aja's best American film to date. 4. Kill List (2011) Weird, creepy and absolutely awesome, and makes you question what you really saw. 3. [REC] (2007) Best of the found footage bunch, with a terrifying ending. 2. The Ring (2002) Expertly made and scary horror mystery. One of the best horror remakes. 1. Switchblade Romance (2003) The best horror movie of this era. Shame about the ending.
The Toymaker
I've seen a fair few horrors and it's my worst genre. I really want to see [REC] and V/H/S though.
