Based on FF8’s run rate, IW will slow down further this hour before bouncing back. FF8 had the biggest hours from 5-7 before slowing down back again

Any gut feeling if this will cross $200M OW?

considering fri and sat were revised downward i think 320-325 could happen and just miss $200 ow. 320-325 gives 1261-1266 and $199.08-199.87 ow using today's ER

Or maybe just  a crack down on the skimming of box office receipts by distributors - which I always think of when estimates get revised consistently down.

it was/is exhibitors(theatres) doing the skimming not distributors

Yes... Tibbet!! It will be reported that IW was being played at Buddhist monasteries, which brought in 1-2M. :P

Actually it is playing in Tibet, small number of theatres...also in Mongolia

It's too bad we don't have Puerto Rico to fudge things a bit if needed. Any areas that could serve a similar role? :P

1) It borders China.

2) It's box office is small and mostly unnoticed.

3) Did you see the comment I replied to? It's about using a smaller country to fudge the numbers to make sure we get over $200m :P

To be fair. a lot of countries/markets BO includes yes other territories owned by the country, but also can include other independent countries as well (from very small to big)

Some examples

Domestic(and in case where its referred to simply as the US) is USA/ US territories & Canada

South Africa- multiple countries, like about seven the vast majority of BO is from South Africa itself

Central America, can often be listed just as Panama(and its not necessarily the biggest BO taker) is pretty much all CA countries along with some Caribbean islands(Various countries & Territories are divided up all over the place)

Trinidad

Russia includes CIS states, Ukraine usually seperated

NZ - Includes fiji, Samoa(not American Samoa), PNG(for some its under Australia), cook islands,East Timor(can also be under Australia or Singapore)
