Olive
what would be the average ticket price for AOU. I am assuming it will be higher considering its 3d only. maybe 2 yuan over FF7.

Archerdude
FF7 midnight showtimes were 10.5k That would make much more sense...at least one midnight show took place over Thursday night and the other on a Saturday night. The two worst nights to do midnight shows over would be Sunday and Monday, AAoU has the latter. Makes sense its show count to be just slightly above or in the vicinity of T4 and nowhere near FF7. Major cities probably comparable, it's the smaller cities where differences will be evident.

James
Pffffffffft...there it goes, all that talk of AAoU over FF7. You mean in total? Who would have believed that? I seriously doubt AoU will even touch TF4 in total, let alone FF7. It was unrealistic from the beginning to even think that.

It was unrealistic from the beginning to even think that. I think he is talking about presales. It looked like that until 2 days back. But Olive did say F7 did have huge advantage as last 2 days were Fri/Sat versus Sun/Mon for AOU.

I meant Pre-sales yes...I think it'll be telling if the movie plays/holds well, which really served FF7. It isn't a lock by any means but I hope it trounces T4 anyway, 2Bil RMB would be sweet. Olive
Based on current trend, 6k midnight showtimes and another 85k Tuesday showtimes for AOU look quite reasonable.
eXtacy
Did anyone actually expect the presales of film released on Tuesday be higher than one on a Sunday, bit unrealistic. Still putting up fantastic presales

Neo
Pffffffffft...there it goes, all that talk of AAoU over FF7. I remember talk of when AOU was outdoing F7 in presales that presales don't dictate OD/OW numbers. Now when AOU has fallen behind F& its doom and gloom, this is laughable.

Quigley
If Aou doesn't make $300M in China, Furious 7 will probably win worldwide.
