What's more impressive? The car flying through several buildings scene in Furious 7 or FF7 beating AoU WW?

1. FF7 grossing over $1B OS (only the 3rd movie to do so)

2. FF7 out-grossing FF6 by over $700M

3. FF7 (potentially) out-grossing The Avengers WW total.

4. FF7 out-grossing AOU WW.

5. Flying cars.

So day Valentines day #2 not looking for AoU. could be down 33% from yesterday. Not getting the bump that spidey and coming home did

Why is there 2 valentines day? Going back to the concubine tradition? Wife day 1. Concubine #1 gets day 2. and what? Concubine #2 gets a set of steak knives? Less women these days in china, less mistresses, probably why the 21st not as good a BO day

Any new movies opening that can take a bite out of it, or is AOU looking to have another good weekend?

Indian movie P.K. and a local movie opening this week, each has 10% showtimes.

AOU is affected by its own WOM other than competition, it should be at 1.30B yuan after this weekend.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does that translate in USD?

Yuan is pegged to the dollar,  very stable.

For future references divide by 6.20

So it will be at $182M as of Thursday. Hopefully it can get $35M weekend. Then $13M if weekdays and it will be at $230M after Thursday.

Should finish with $250M or so.

I have the same projection 1.3B/$210m by sunday and with the standard 60% drop off of Mon-tues its looking like 10m next midweek.

250 still has a shot but it really need the 3-4m more we thought it would bump yesterday and today
