China is being smarter and accepts most Pixar-films as quality films. 😁👍🏻 Thank you, China! A Marvel Fanboy
Basically every imported release has both subbed and dubbed versions in China. And, every release (imported or local, dubbed or not) has subtitle. Many local films even have English subtitles...... peludo
It is really interesting that possible leggy run for Coco, considering that Pixar has never made nothing special in China. The initial data suggest something special or it will finally make the same 15-30 million than previous Pixar films?

I watched Spiderman- Homecoming dubbed, no subtitles and I always watch dubbed version for animated movies, no subs all the time.

Stewart
Ratings at Douban at 9.4 (3.9k reviews) and 9.6 at Maoyan (1.7k reviews). Looks like early WOM is pretty fantastic! Currently at 11.6M yuan opening day ($1.76m), with presales for tomorrow at 3.4M (presales for OD ended at about 2.3M), so looking at a healthy increase tomorrow. This is running surprisingly close to Zootopia in terms of showings, and about half sales. Zootopia I believe started on Maoyan at 9.8? So don't expect over $200M for Coco, but it's looking very likely to become Pixars best in China (currently Finding Dory at $38M I think) Edited November 24, 2017 by feasby007

Everything goes right it could hit 100M+. As POTUS puts it, it has a chance to be a runner. So far Sat/Sun look good but real fun potentially begins Monday. If it's a mini Zootopia/Dangal or just a semi above run.
peludo
If it becomes true, this is the kind of runs that makes CBO so great to follow

This why I love following BO unexpected and potentially record breaking performance, out of nowhere. Potential for CBO is staggering. Only market that can potentially rival domestic market. To be fair, I would be happy with $50M so anything more is just icing on the cake.
