Douban start with 8.4/10. Not bad at all. I haven't seen the movie yet. I can't tell how big the fluctuation range could be. A good legs will most likely require 8.0/10-plus IMO.

I don't think A2 is going to make it to 220m, the pace growth is so tepid on Maoyan.

When is often the mid point for Friday in China?

Since it is a normal work day so I think it's around 5pm-6pm?

As far as i understand people are equaly  afarid of the virus itself and its apparent surging spread rn without a "safety" that lockdowns will keep it back than being in quarantine at home . It has been discussed already a lot and of course the disparity and immense downgrade in Box Office Optimism is due to Covid mostly and the very volatile situation and transitional period China is rn in the handling of the virus . We know that a lot of restaurants and buisnesses are doing worse rn and cities are as or more empty compared to even Zero-Covid periods. But what exactly are the social dynamics and psychology of the average chinese citizen its very hard to tell
