Upcoming "Meg 2: The Trench" will probably be the Highest Grossing Film of August (Because of Co-production, Meg 2 will be considered as Domestic Film instead of Hollywood Film in China) &"Oppenheimer" will take the lead on September" being the Last Hollywood Film ahead of October Holidays ~

The Meg 2 PS is little bit ahead of Hobbs&Shaw and Jurassic World:Fallen Kingdom,bith do over $200m in China,The Meg has chance become second best HLW grosser after pandemic behind Avatar 2

Curious with how Oppenheimer would do in China. The movie doesn't seem to have good WOM from Chinese people who are living overseas, judging from what I have seen on Little Red Book. Mainly a language issue I think. A lot of people complained that they couldn't understand all the dialogue which makes the movie confusing and boring for them. They also feel like there's a barrier to entry for watching movies like this. Not sure if the subbed and/or dubbed version in China would perform better.
