Ezen Baklattan
The thread in which the tiebreakers are posted. The rules are simple. Rank the films in the tiebreak with 1 being your first choice with higher numbers being decreasing preferences. And Yes, I copied this from Numbers. It's not plagiarizing if you cite your sources. We'll set a deadline later. Also, I'm going off the assumption that we have only 3 nods for Foreign Film and Documentary. 4815162342
Oro for BP is the big surprise for me.Very much so. It's locked for 10 nominations with a chance for 3 more.If my count is right, The Shark Mutiny will have 11 noms, the same number that U.S.S. Seawolf did. Satisfied with that. Don't want it to win BP though, at least not if Eccentric Minds or one of the tiebreaker films wins in its place.
riczhang
Is Oro already at 10? Definitely didn't expect any of this when I wrote the film. And it's the earliest released new CAYOM film I think. 30 April.

4815162342
Don't quite get this? What happens is that when people make their original picks, they are unranked, so the 5 most-mentioned people/films become the Oscar nominees. However there are usually a few ties, where two or more people or films are tied for the last spot or multiple spots. When that happens, we have an intermediate tiebreaker round, where the people/films tied for the spots in question are ranked by the players from 1 to X (X being the actual number of tied people, so if there are 3 people tied you rank 1, 2, 3), with 1 being the top preference and X being the last preference. The way scoring goes is that if there are say 4 people tied. A 1 rank is worth 4 points and a 4 rank is worth 1 point. The people/films with the highest amount of points that fit into the open slots join the already confirmed Oscar nominees.Does that help?
