26 noms in Total, pretty good. And that'd be the all time Oscar per studio record in Real Life, except for that one time Miramax got 31 :o noms in a year in 2002.

I also like how with Screenplay, there's an animated film for both categories. That'd never happen in RL, despite the quality of the films. Plus, it sets up an interesting race in Animated Feature. ;)

Um.... Pixar?

I'm happy for Jane, however I expected him to shine next year, he's going to have a really strong performance, I have Oscar hopes for Killing Floor, I hope it won't affect his chances that he got nominated for The Affair.

We don't think about such things when it comes to nominating people. We're not like the real-life Academy who are like "Oh Meryl Streep won her 2nd Oscar 8 years ago, it's too soon for her 3rd."

Definitely bummed Empty Hearth didn't make it. Spent ages on that film, not sure why though, people seemed to like it less than the reviews said. Oro makes up for it though, not expected and really awesome.

Empty Hearth should've been nominated. And if I had been able to do the BP tiebreaker as well, there still would've been a tie, which kinda irks me that I couldn't do it because I didn't know when the deadline was. Figured it would still be up when I got home from work.
