Talking about Joker, being an inflated weekend, it is hard to compare to other 5th weekends, but I just have Avatar (€4.3m) and Ocho apellidos vascos (€4.1m) over Joker's €2.3m.

As a close case, The Impossible did a €2.2m 5th weekend, and after that, it did another €6m.

Other example, A monster calls did a €1.37m 5th weekend and it did other €3m after that. So, with normal drops, Joker should make at least another 5 million, reaching €29m, and matching Endgame. But I prefer to see next weekend drop and see how it normalizes.

Joker after a €1.1m weekend (6th weekend) is at €26.5m

Endgame after a €900k weekend (4th weekend) was at €26.7m

Endgame did €2.54m after this, finishing with €29.2m. Applying the same legs, Joker would do €3.1m more from now, finishing with €29.6m. But, will it have the same late legs? I doubt it (it will do better).

Joker in all time unadjusted list:

...

7. The Force Awakens: €33,274,236

8. The Return of the King: €32,935,490

9. The Fellowship of the Ring: €31,339,713

10. The Two Towers: €29,800,443

11. Endgame: €29,183,387

12. Pirates of the Caribbean 2: €28,272,305

13. Shrek 2: €28,207,541

14. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: €27,693,789

15. Bohemian Rhapsody: €27,600,041

16. The Others: €27,254,163

17. The Da Vinci Code: €26,782,492

18. Joker: 26,703,687

...

It should reach #10, ejecting TTT from top 10 after 17 years. And then, we will see if it is able to match FOTR.

TFA and ROTK seem out of reach for the moment.

Pre-sales for tomorrow with 6 new releases:

Si Yo Fuera Rico (12 Shows): 0 tickets sold

Big spanish mainstream comedy from Mediaset. Lo Dejo Cuando quiera did 1.58M this year but hype is a bit muted right now. Spanish films are difficult to predict so I will be cautious and predict €1.2M OW

Ford V Ferrari (9 Shows): 36 tickets sold

AD Astra is the comp here with 100 tickets sold who did €1.91M. That would put FvF with 687K but I will increase that number to €1M because this could be very walk-up heavy because the target is a lot older than AD Astra's one

One Piece: Stampede (2 Shows): 0 tickets sold

This is flopping at the theater because the film is dubbed to Spanish. It could enter Top 10 but do a lot less than Dragon Ball Super Broly earlier this year. €400K (Italy numbers)

Madre (4 Shows): 0 tickets sold

Spanish auteur Rodrigo Sorogoyen new film is released after El Reino last year. With +70 theaters with €2K PTA, €140-150K could be the objective.

Haunt (5 shows): 0 tickets sold

Horror small film (+80 theaters). €100K OW if not less. The film is pretty good by the way.

Mon Chien Stupide (5 Shows): 0 tickets sold

Another french small film. Out of Top 10

That is about 35-40% drop for Joker. Not amazing, but good holds are back.

Very good opening for "Si yo fuera rico". Telecinco's promo has done it again.

Telecinco and AtresMedia smashing the box office.

On the other hand, Sorogoyen's Madre debuts with €70K, less than €1K PTA

I expected more for Madre

I would like to see numbers for The Irishman, but I think we will never know it.

Madre is a total dissapointment after El Reino. I saw the film yesterday and the theater was practically empty and the WOM isn't going to be good
