2. SKYFALL - Directed By Sam Mendes (186 Points)

Sam Mendes’s vision of the James Bond franchise is certainly a solid movie in its own rights. Maybe the #3 film of the year is a bit much, but I’d be lying if I said Skyfall wasn’t a well-crafted thriller with solid performances and some awesome cinematography to boot. It also made me want Adele to win an Oscar, so that’s a pretty impressive feat, I suppose.
