Mayhem2x3
I don't think TDKR and Brave are after the same demographic. How many parents will go see TDKR instead of take the kids to see Brave? Or parents with old enough kids take them out to see TDKR instead of Brave? It won't have to be a huge % of TDKR's audience to turn Brave's drops from 40% into 50%+. But I think TASM and IA risk doing the most damage on the 3rd and 4th weekends anyhow.

That would be pretty irresponsible parenting :/
iceroll
Who would have thought a month ago that Madagascar 3 which was so despised by this forum would have a higher RT score than Brave? What an odd month for animated films.

Mojoguy
More likely Brave and Ice Age Yeah, most of them probably already saw Madagascar 3.

whoot
This feels like Cars 2 all over again where it kept dropping on RT through OW (except this time I actually care). Certified fresh isn't even a lock anymore. &@$*%
JackO
I can understand the bad reviews because of the twist but it is still a fresh film. That should not be a doubt. Seems pretty lazy critiquing if you ask me. Oh it's not Wall-E, ROTTEN!

I'm not knocking Madagascar 3, but... honestly, who the hell would have expected that a few weeks ago?

Mojoguy
Is the current 6.7 rating on RT considered good?
AniNate
It's the same as Madagascar 3's
Impact
Tons of status are waiting to see this. Also it had pre screenings on Wednesday (or Tuesday don't remember)
zlazer
It's the same as Madagascar 3's That basically shows, the difference between Pixar and other animated movies is that the expectation is so hight, that the line between positive and negative is close.
