  1. I walked out of Day the Earth Stood Still because of how lousy the national security/military scenes were handled, a topic which I know alot about. We were about 20 minutes into the movie and I just couldn't take it.
  2. I've seen this many times before. Gary Oldman is my favorite actor. The ultimate chameleon. I've held him in high regard since Air Force One then I saw some of his earlier work and it reaffirmed my opinion of him. He is the best living actor IMO.
  3. Wow, it's been so long since I've seen this film. I saw it as part of an American History class. We were discussing Generation X I believe.
  4. I firmly disagree but it's not worth the blood, sweat, tears, and finger cramps a debate would cause. We'll have to agree to disagree.
  5. I thought he was going to be big after Minority Report
  6. I think you can make a good argument. I personally think the legs for Sixth Sense, Greek Wedding, Lion King, and Forrest Gump were more out of this world. The fact that Frozen is in the same discussion is impressive!
  7. Did CF beat Hunger Games 1 admissions wise?
  8. Where do you get marketing numbers from both movies? What were the total marketing budgets for both?
  9. post-Tribulation rapture, why yes I do. Not fantasy to me.
  10. News outlets: We have an army of analysts Boxoffice Forums: We have Rth
  11. Frozen's run is spectacular. This weekend: $8-8.5m Feb 21-23: $6m Feb 28-Mar 2: $4m Post Oscar bump: March 7-9: $6m I still think Iron Man 3's $409m is safe but Frozen will come within shouting distance.
  12. As long as Frozen reaches $392 million I'm alright. That's what it needs to beat DM2's adjusted numbers.
  13. The 1st 2/3rds of the movie are above-average (Cloudy with Chance of Meatballs, Despicable Me, Monsters University), the final third of the movie is one for the ages (Toy Story 3, Lion King, Finding Nemo). Overall, a very, very great movie. An absolute delight! A+
