  5. No one wanted to publicly stand in front of the boxoffice counter and announce "One ticket for 50 Shades of Grey please"
  6. Think about movies critics raved about but where there is consensus among regular movie-goers that it sucked. Conversely Think about movies which critics hated but there is consensus among regular movie-goers that it was actually quite good! I got this thread idea after looking at RT scores and trying to find wide disconnects between Top Critics and all critics.

  9. Do you think they can go "small"? They have such big ideas. Perhaps TV will be their next medium, or a video-game.
  10. Nearly all Aussie actors disappoint me. Few can emote. Anna Torv, Sam Worthington, Heath Ledger (before TDK), Joel Edgerton (besides Exodus), Nicole Kidman, and Chris Hemsworth. BLAND BLAND BLAND. However, Cate Blanchett is one of the finest actors alive today. Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, I don't have much problem with.
