  1. He speaks. Over 18K posts?! I rarely come across actual posts from you. It's usually the copious (and much appreciated) likes that we cross paths.
  2. 2015 will crush the record for $200M blockbusters and likely $100m grossers.
  3. I am against it. I voted no but technically I will continue supporting it by buying movie-tickets.
  4. Walt Disney actually was frozen but he's now been cured, unthawed and is being briefed on what has happened with his company since 1966.... Here's how the conversation went down:
  5. not me....i'll tell everybody thinking of seeing it IRL to avoid it because of franco and his humor. haha
  6. He was by far, for me, the most annoying.
  7. Both are great but LOTR is 2nd to Star Wars OT as far as trilogies go.
  8. Meh. It was ok. Had its moments. Funniest parts by far were the two "Fireworks" scenes (during the interview and the Kim Jong-un death scene). For those wondering what all the fuss was about, remember that it wasn't Sony hyping the controversial aspects of the film. It was North Korea.
  9. Just played my first Uncharted game and loved it. It's the spiritual successor to Indiana Jones. Looking forward to the Uncharted, Last of Us, and Warcraft adaptations.
  10. C + I got the sense of a story stretched out to cover 2.5 hrs. For example, the Laketown scenes (after Smaug's defeat) could have been condensed. The plot also seemed paper-thin featuring 2 hrs of battles and fighting over the mountain and not much more that. The fight scenes were exciting but got boring and tedious. The highlight for me was Galadriel vs Sauron. What are her powers exactly? Is she stronger than a Valar?
  11. The Interview could be the first major release in a direct to VOD format.
  12. A movie thread got moved back to On The Lot. That's hilarious.
  13. The death scene has leaked. It's hilarious! The accompanying soundtrack is not what I thought it would be. hahaha
  14. You can tell it's a Malick movie. Same type of shots and camera movement.
