  1. Imitation Game kinda reminds me of MBFGW. Under the radar for awhile but consistent grosses. It has now spent six weekends at ~ $7-8 million!

  4. B+ Macon Blair did a good job as Dwight. Otherwise, nothing in the film really stood out. It was good, not great.
  5. Probably wise for the studio to see how Fantastic Four will do before moving ahead with a sequel. My guess is that they won't actually ramp up production until they do.

  9. Which is why Pixar should always keep the number of its film limited per year, lest it over-saturate the market (no matter how good the films are).

  13. This weekend, I will see the movie a 3rd time. It taps into our (American) patriotic nerve. Relatedly, our military members are considered heroes to us and great deeds are rewarded. Films along these lines will ALWAYS make money.
  14. It was still quiet though. $200m sneaked up on alot of us, I think because it was overshadowed by other movies around the release date.
