  1. Coco might have a fantastic Sunday. I see something like: 2.3 previews + 11.3 Wed + 8.5 Th + 19 Fri + 19 Sat + 13 Sun = 51/73.1 - 251.60 total.
  2. If JL does 11 today, then it should do 9 tomorrow, 19 Fri & Sat avg., and 9 Sunday. 47M weekend, 67M 5-day, 179M total.
  3. I am going with Moana multiplier for this. I think any borderline numbers should be rounded down due to slighter front-loading from Moana. I know Moana was front-loaded from comparisons, and I think Coco will continue this trend. Coco's reach might be able to grow further on Saturday and then Sunday. Time will tell.
  4. It looks like Justice League will be loosing this weekend. I cannot believe it! Here is the last updated MT rankings from around 5 this afternoon 25.5% - Coco 20.1% - JL 18.9% - Wonder 7.7% - Thor 5.6% - Express I hope JL goes up. Maybe GOTG2 went lower when Alien Covenant opened but then went back to #1 the next day
  5. I wonder since Thor had 4,080 locations it was forced to shed alot of theaters. The thing I am wondering about is if Daddy's Home 2 and Murder on the Orient Express get more rights to show their screenings since they have been out 1 week shorter.
  6. I am so out of touch right now. I have no idea how Wonder is doing so well. I never watch commercials on tv so maybe that has something to do with it? I have never felt this out of touch with a films performance since Hunger Games made 150 OW.
  7. I wish I could have finished my 1997 movie catalogue on pages 3 and 4, but that is life. Anyways, next time I think I am just going to construct a physical binder ahead of time so maybe I can show it finished. The whole 'what year is it truely from' thing really screwed with my sleep for a few days. LOL. I hope Spice World makes the list.
  8. ^^ It seems a few thousand screens should be knocked off in the subtraction column for theater count losses for next weekend. But then we would be under 30,000 screens for the top 20 which would just be impossible due to the shedding of alot of showtimes. I see alot of showtimes adding for Wonder. I also see Coco being made available for all matinees everywhere and Justice League going above BVS weekend #2.
  9. Are we going to have a record for best holdovers over Thanksgiving weekend?? This weekend, the top 20 had approximately 30,559 screens. 20,312 of them are holders, 10,247 are from the new releases and expansions. Next week I have the top 20 looking like this nc - 4,052 - Justice League new - 3,900 - Coco +100 - 3,196 - Wonder -100 - 3,980 - Thor 3 -100 - 3,475 - Daddy's Home 2 -100 - 3,245 - Murder on the Orient Express nc - 2,837 - The Star -200 - 2,748 - Bad Moms Christmas +1500 - 1,504 - Roman J Israel ???? - ?????? - Lady Bird +425 - 478 - 3 Billboards -600 - 601 - Jigsaw -100 - 366 - Blade Runner - 300 - 418 - Boo 2! nc - 212 - Loving Vincent -100 - 454 - Let there Be Light nc - 217 - Florida Project nc - 257 - Victoria and Abdul -200 - 302 - Geostorm -100 - 355 - LEGO new - 4 - Darkest Hour This gives 26,684 for the holdovers and +5,925 for Coco and all the expansions. I just spent a few hours going over the last 10 years and something does not look right with this data. Please take a look and see. My system will crash processing this. 11. I need some help with this. I have a list of 49 movies right now I will show. Then I will show a list of over 40 movies I compiled that I have not seen and they are ranked based on my anticipation. If any of you find anything on this list that you think would fit well in a slot in my top 25 for 1997, then you are basically advertising a movie that you like, and it could be a win for you. I have most of tonight and tomorrow to watch movies. My top 48 list is subject to major changes, but right about now it looks like I might be able to fit up to 5 more in, and I feel like The Game (1997) will end up being #25. This is what I am thinking. I will watch Con Air at 9:00 pm Monday night and see if it spoils The Game (1997) making my list at 25. I have seen Con Air before but the memories are not worth any judgement. This is an action movie I need to experience. I am very confident with my placement of Face/Off in the top 25 even though it has been 10+ years since I have seen it. I am disappointed that I can not rank Face/Off higher. Upon further re-watches, I might watch something ranking above Face/Off and end up lowering it below Face/Off. Thanks You!!! I don't want to watch these movies but I guess I have to: Life is Beautiful, Princess Mononoke A Anticipation Ranking 1. Open Your Eyes Wag the Dog 2. Contact Kundun 3. 12. there are two types of people in the universe....those that dance, and those who don't.
  13. Also, we have never really seen an upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend like this where we just get one Wide release. Capacity will be high!!!
  14. Well, I think if it follows Fantastic Beasts, it gets 290ish. I am just all caught up on the concept of Batman and millions of people (children especially) chanting Batman over and over for the next 9 days or so. Maybe it does do a 3+ multiplier, but it will happen on the strength of the next 9 days. Batman v Superman had a Sunday - Thursday that looked like this. I see Justice League gaining ground, but unfortunately dropping 50%+ in week 3.
