  1. Let There Be Light Date Rank Gross % Change Theaters Per Theater Total Gross Days 2017/10/27 - $611,281 373 $1,639 $611,281 1 2017/10/28 - $646,036 +6% 373 $1,732 $1,257,317 2 2017/10/29 - $472,218 -27% 373 $1,266 $1,729,535 3
  2. Suburbicon holds well. Up from the 2.80 weekend estimate. 2017/10/27 7 $1,091,676 2,046 $534 $1,091,676 1 2017/10/28 - $1,058,172 -3% 2,046 $517 $2,149,848 2 2017/10/29 - $690,398 -35% 2,046 $337 $2,840,246 3
  3. The Foreigner up 10% on Sunday from the Friday number. This number is also up 9.4% from the previously estimated number on Sunday. This looks very promising for all movies this weekend!!! 8 $3,443,433 -41% 2,505 $1,375 $29,060,751 3 2017/10/27 9 $941,044 +94% 2,505 $376 $26,558,362 15 2017/10/28 - $1,463,827 +56% 2,505 $584 $28,022,189 16 2017/10/29 - $1,038,562 -29% 2,505 $415 $29,060,751 17
  4. Jeepers Creepers 3, Cult of Chucky, Leatherface, Amityville...... ahh!! I liked Raw. I thought it was pretty ambitious. The Bad Batch was cool too, but its scope was more involved with the world building. I thought Personal Shopper was the best among the psychological and supernatural horrors. Other films I thought had various strengths are It Comes At Night and A Cure for Wellness. I have not got around to A Ghost Story yet. All the modern mainstream horror was great IMO. I would rank them: Get Out Split It Annabelle Belko Experiment 47 Meters Phoenix Forgotten Rings Bye Bye Man Friend Request Wish Upon and Action Horror: Alien: Covenant Life It Resident Evil 6 Underworld 4 The Great Wall Kong: Skull Island The Dark Tower The Mummy
  5. imagine this. A spinoff It show on Netflix chronicling one of Pennywises reigns during a time period in Derry. This concept is worth so much $$. But i also feel strongly about a 365 day / year HBO show on the daily life of Harry Potter (inspired by the novels).
  6. me too! I was thinking Ratatouille numbers and I am not going to let any last minute explosive buzz deter me from predicting 50m OW
  7. I suggest a thoughtful re-watch of Scream 2 for its social commentary (and other commentaries)
  8. I needed at least one prediction to make sense. That is why I put Robin Hood in there.
  9. Hmmm..... Jurassic World 2 - 500 Solo: A Star Wars Story - 500 Avenger - 425 Aquaman - 300 Black Panther - 300 Incredibles 2 - 300 Deadpool 2 - 250 Ant Man 2 - 225 Fantastic Beasts 2 - 225 The Grinch - 225 Wreck it Ralph 2 - 200 Robin Hood - 180 Ready Player One - 175 Mission: Impossible 6 - 150
  10. Also, Miles Teller was in Bleed for This, War Dogs, and Divergent 3 last year!
  11. It seems like TYFYS could have went direct to tv, but because of Miles Teller they can get 2000 locations with it. Also, since Universal is distributing this, look for it to keep showtimes on it's third weekend as that Saturday, November 11th, is Veterans Day. Next week, TYFS has to go against Thor and BM2. The third weekend is Orient Express and Daddy's Home 2. Unfortunately, I do not think this will hold well against Thor next weekend.
  12. does the TYFS promotion go towards OD only, or is it applicable anytime for admission?

  14. 4 minute pulse count: 14 - Thank You For Your Service 8 - Suburbicon 48 - Jigsaw
  15. Jigsaw seems to be showing up. This may not be more than just a few 'gusts' of mass movie ticket buying because of all the big events going on in the film industry. Maybe the donate blood drive and other social factors are kicking in too, In any case, it might be opening day frontloaded. I don't know. Could it be a big Sat/Sun matinee? Wish I could find that out myself. Here are the OD #s for Jeepers Creepers 3, Rings, and Blair Witch. Jeepers - $1,773,763 635 / $2,793 Rings $5,631,820 2,931 / $1,921 Blair Witch $4,011,022 3,121 / $1,285 It could open at 5.6 to 6.0 on opening day depending on screen count. Here are the Saturday's for Rings and Blair Witch Rings $5,625,585 2,931 / $1,919 Blair Witch $3,492,235 3,121 / $1,119 Happy Death Day $9,362,760 3,149 / $2,973 Right now I predict anywhere from 14-18 OW. I am at 15OW until reviews roll in.

  17. if they are doing Kingsman 3, they should crank it out ASAP while it is still fresh!
  18. Great for DM3 considering it came in 100 less than Pets and DM2 (domestic), and overseas exchange rates are not all that great.
  19. The Big Sick and Get Out seem to have the best chance to make it so far.

  22. first time watcher. 1 hour in as of last night. a lot better than I expected. I thought this was supposed to be a slow paced 3 hour Historical about Kevin Costner riding across America in the 1800 or 1900s. I thought it would be like the Gettysburg film, but with very little action. Instead, it seems to be more on point with Mad Max's Fury Road or Waterworld.
