  1. I had not heard the Dazzler part of the rumor before, but Levy sounds just like the producer who made the same "Wait Until June and see" comment..which seems to be the standard approach. I am VERY skeptical about rumors, but am moving int the direction of buying into this one, simply because I don't think the studio would want to deal with the Dissapointment factor is she is NOT in the movie after the hype it is getting.
  2. Given the amount of money they must have spent on that scene, it damn well had better be important....
  3. Sad but True: Helen Hun'st career seemed to go nowhere after her Oscar win.
  4. In any Superman movie, Superman is the real attraction, not the actor playing him COme to thinks of it Christopher Reeve was pretty much an unknown when he was cast as Supes.
  5. Depends on how good they are. Talia Shire turned out to be perfect for Conniw in Godfather.
  6. Nonsense.Ithink the choices are good ones, but I have not seen any that guarantee a 200 Million opening.
  7. Why do I get imagesof Swift doing a duet with Wolverine? I like Swift, but I doubt she can be a kingmaker in the next election. i hope not, though I ma voting for the candidate she would endorrse. I just think voting a certain way because a freaking celeb tells you too is r eally, really, sutpid.
  8. I am spacing my viewing of Season one out, this series is too good to binge on. Easily the best TV Series/Movie I have seen based on a computer/video game.
  9. If by first movie you mean the ultra real remake, I agree. Of course, that is what I think about all the live action/ultra real animation remakes of classic animated films. If you mean the 1994 original, you are just wrong, wrong, wrong. It is not my favorite of the Disney animation revival movies, but it damn good.
  10. Then we have the Taylor Swift Cameo rumors which I note everybody connected with the film is being very coy about........
  11. To steal a line from "Lawrence of Arabia" :"You have a funny sense of fun". I agree with Porthos that the biggest danger the film has it Phillips might be too cute of too clever for his own good. We will see.
  12. I don't wan to get political, but Biden statement about Iran attacking Israel is very, veryk scary.
  13. Iorny is of course, is that the 2000 film borrows heavily from the 1964 film "Fall Of The Roman Empire". which was a massive bomb when it opened in 1964 but even before GLadiator came out had been rehabilated into one of the best of the 60's epic films.
  14. I see nothing the in the 1941 verson that cannot easily transalate to a modern version. Main thing is to keep Larry Talbot as much a victim as a monster. I hope they use the classic poem form the 1941 classic:
  15. Man, Ryan is going be having a lot of snarky fun with the entire MCU.
  16. You have to be cautious about stgories about great reaponses at screenings. but this is certainly not a bad sign. The new charecter I l ook forward to the most is Ennui. I love the whole Paris Left Bank Exsistencial Intellectual vibe they are giving her.
  17. I think that was in reaction to the somewhat tepid response to the first FB movie. But IMHO It did not work;. I honestly think she said everything she wanted to say about the Wizarding World in the Potter novels, and now she is just milking the cash cow. I Give Tolkien a lot of credit for knowhing when to quit, he actually started a seqeul to Lord of the Rings, after a chapter saw it was going noplace wan was just a not very good thriller, and quit.
  18. The Media has embraced sensationalism from day one. Back in the late 1800's Joseph Pulitzer and William Randoplh Hearst built their newspaper empires on sensationalism. The Harding ]Kerrigan case though, was alot less serious then the OJ case. In the end, was black comedy..and one reason I really liked I Tonya was that the film played it that way.
