    Same way if a movie is in the 90% range. Also look at the average rating, because you'll have movies like Doctor Strange with low average ratings but high RT Scores indicating lots of critics enjoyed it, but weren't raving about it. Then you'll have movies like The Passion of the Christ or Dead Man's Chest which has a high average rating for a 49%/52% on the tomatometer respectively. Or like The Wolf of Wall Street is another example, with a tomatometer in the 70% range, but a 7.7 average rating. Showing that the critics that did enjoy it, really enjoyed it.

    I think Littlefinger will stay in Winterfell with Sansa, giving him an avenue to manipulate her.

    Eh, I bet there will be another Alien movie within 3-4 years. They'll likely drop the Prometheus continuity and go with a different approach.

    Lol, I remember a four or five years ago people were saying horror was a dead genre with nothing original left to offer. These last few years so many of the big critical hits have been horrors or horror thrillers.

    I still wouldn't say they're doing as well as their peak years. From Shrek to The Croods they didn't have a Miss besides Flushed Away, and they consistently made films that adjusted over 200m. None of the properties Dreamworks have done lately are able to spawn franchises like Shrek or Madagascar

    Idk. Dreamworks is weird. Their appealing and fresh looking concepts/films flop, and their trash ideas that look like they belong on a bad cartoon channel do great.

    I remember in 2014 people were talking about how Dreamworks was going to go under, with all of their expensive sequel flops and new IPs that looked unappealing. How times have changed.

    Yeah, I wasn't buying how any of the characters reacted to David. The dude's telling you about how he's been experimenting and creating these aliens and you just listen to him (as well as stick your face in the Alien egg, like really? Nobody is that stupid or gullible). I know it's rather typical for characters to make idiotic decisions in horror films, but that doesn't make it any less cringe worthy.

    I don't really watch TV much (at least tv with commercials) and I've noticed a number ads for it. Im pretty sure Fox isn't throwing it under the bus. Over 100m should happen.

    I don't see much point in showing Geralt lose his memory when the audience already knows what happens prior. It made sense for the Witcher, because 99% of the people playing the first game hadn't read the books (and I'd reckon to say 90-95% of the Witcher 3 audience haven't either). Truth be told, I've only read stuff I was interested in about the books. I haven't given them a straight read yet.

    This is actually a really good idea. I figure they're adapting the books and not the games. The Witcher as a concept serves really well as a TV Show. Im about to start playing Wild Hunt (just finished Assassin of Kings) and I really enjoy the universe. It feels like a hybrid of Tolkien and Game of Thrones

    That was the year Weinstein royally pissed me off. He threw two of my favorite movies that year under the bus due to personal grudges (Snowpiercer and the Immigrant). Really not a fan of his studio.

    That's annoying. Netflix has delivered some top quality TV Shows rivaling HBO in number. I don't see it being a bad thing if they can start picking up promising movie projects that are too risky for other studios.

    And, lol, The Hitman's Bodyguard might actually be a surprise hit.

    Reminds me of Tammy from a couple years ago. There was nothing appealing about that movie, but it still nearly pulled 100m because of McCarthy.

    Summer comedies are really unpredictable. They're mostly driven by WoM, and predicting quality is like trying to predict a what number a di will roll on.

    That still doesn't make it a more fan-oriented/frontloaded franchise. That's only because Pirates at its peak was much larger than X-Men at its peak.

    Pirates has never been an overly frontloaded franchise, and it's always had poor reviews. I have a hard time seeing a multi below 2.4x or so (worst case).
