  1. I haven't been online today, WTF is this madness? CJohn banned? Fake CJohn? Fake Numbers? Tele with a Pikachu Avi? Mod Impersonators? Mods going crazy? Have the BVS arguments finally driven everyone off the edge?
  2. All with likely over 90% tomatometers too. In fact, if it wasn't for Alice 2, Disney could potentially have all of their major films be massive blockbuster hits with great reviews this year as everything else looks just as promising.
  3. I just stuff my own water bottle in my coat and screw the overpriced concessions
  4. I don't think we're bringing enough attention to this. This logo has been in the making for 5 years now.
  5. I mean, at this rate, that'd be a reboot every 20 years. That's a much better pace than how often we get Batman and Spider-Man reboots.
  6. Rule of thumb is if it doubles the production budget, assuming VOD, DVD and BluRay sales cover advertising costs (as a movie that's able to to double it's production budget should be able to cover the extra costs from its sales) It's a film by film thing though as some films have had notoriously high ad budgets that still left the film near the red zone (MOS is an example I believe). Generally though, if a film doubles the production budget you can assume Itll at least break even in the end.
  7. Yeah, I don't like how they did this. It cheapens the show dramatically. Compare it to say the iconic GoT death scenes that were near end of season, all of them leave you wondering where does the plot move from there, and how it shakes everything up. It doesn't leave you frustrated because you don't even know what even happened.

  9. Box Office potential (and I guess quality too but I was talking about BO) The entire concept of the film was one of the easiest sells in recent memory that doesn't have Star Wars in the title. Not only that but the film is the foundation of the franchise, one that WB was banking pretty hard on given they have next to nothing else besides a few Potter spin-offs and maybe a Cursed Child sequel a ways down the road. Let's not pretend 330m-350m DOM and piss poor GA reception was WB's goal with this film. The film's not a flop, but it's not close to being a success either.
  10. Doesnt change the fact that all of those films were big misses of potential. The only one that may not have had much more potential was AoU and that's more because of over expectations. When Deadpool outgrosses Batman and Superman's first meet up on screen (plus Wonder Woman's first appearance on screen) there was heavily missed potential.
