  1. Yeah, Best Scene could be great, but I like acknowledgement to great action sequences/ensembles as well. Also, FYC Best Supporting Actress Jackie Von Beek For What We Do In The Shadows
  2. FYC Best Hero Blue the Raptor (Jurassic World) Joy and Sadness (Inside Out) Best Villain The Bankers (The Big Short)
  3. I Could see McCarthy missing at the Oscars, but I hope not. I like that list.
  4. This feels like a year where there could be 9-10 nominees, lots of love for lots of different movies.
  5. NC-17 for the most boring movie name of the year Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
  6. I'd like to invest 50% in Deadpool 100% in The Witch 25% in Zoolander 2
  7. Not true at the slightest. They have many fantastic movies that I wouldn't consider a comedy.
  8. I bet 50 points to two people The Revenant is over Star Wars next weekend I bet 50 points to two people Ride Along 2 OW is under Ride Along OW
  9. Sicario did a good job, that's true, but it wasn't as fully developed and explored as Revenant's was.
  10. I don't want Inarritu to win the Oscar twice in a row, but Id take The Revenant over anything but The Big Short, Mad Max, or at an extreme unlikely circumstance Star Wars or Inside Out.
  11. Potential BP Winners Now The Martian missed the SAG nomination and a BAFTA Best Pic nomination. But it won Best Comedy, and Ridley is seen as overdue. Inarritu won last year, but the only miss for the Revenant so far is the SAG nomination. He could potentially win BP, especially with how WTF this year is. The Big Short lost a bit of momentum tonight with no wins at all, but it's been getting a lot of industry love. Id still put it as the weak frontrunner to win. Spotlight is pretty much dead in the water at this point, but it's still technically in contention. Miller missed here and he missed at the BAFTAS, but he's still a dark horse. Those are your top 5. I'm betting the Globes are completely off though this year, and we'll end up with The Big Short winning. But I could be wrong.
  12. Crash and Hurt Locker are fairly recent. A good chance The Big Short can still win. But The Martian might actually win BP... *Gag*
  13. Birdman didn't win either. But this awards season makes 0 sense.
  14. They sucked. Even through they rightfully recognized the masterpiece, The Revenant, everything else sucked
  15. I mean, he's been practicing his entire life for that moment.
  16. People wouldn't stop clapping because they were like, "Yo, the globes finally picked a worthy winner!"
  17. Haven't seen room but I'm happy for Larson. Made up a little bit for the Martian's awful win.
  18. These Globes suck balls, I think/hope they'll be completely irrelevant come Oscar time.
  19. The only way these aren't the worst Golden Globes ever is if Mad Max wins.
