  2. That is why there are heroes and villains in the DM universe, and why Gru is shown to be so tough. Due to the genetic nature of despicableness, only the strong and despicable past on the despicable trait. Also due to the more peaceful nature of the world, despite some small issues like a german painter being accidently killed by some yellow people, the general police force is not as tough. This has allowed villains like Gru to flourish. Due to minion clumsiness those who are not both durable and despicable don't last long.
  3. Well since they are not likely to redo the origin story I could see TM working. It could be a psuedo continuation of the 2 spiderman films he was in
  4. The hackers got the US government involved with these threats in a very public manner. By making such a vocal and exact threat they became a huge target. They will be caught by the end of the year likely by the 25th. As for the hacking of Sony... they have awful security. They were already hacked and had the word document containing users credit card information compromised. What i am saying is almost any hacker could hack Sony.
  5. I could see BH6 weekend drop easily being under 20%. Every week over week non holiday, the friday drop has been worse than the weekend drop for BH6
  6. I kinda wish they'd wait 18-20 but its not like BH6 is going to still be in many theaters by that point

  8. I think all of the holdovers will be hit hard except maybe MJ1. Dumb and Dumber 2 is in for some especially hard times
  9. Maybe it can excite overseas... at least it will do better than WiR and Tangled
  10. I think that the people trying to shut this movie down will get it so much free publicity that it will break out. I think this may clear $100M
  11. Yet another great movie by Disney. All to often recently I'll be watching a movie and think that is a great subversion of a trope or something similar. This movie was one of the few that I truly was invested in. On an intellectual level I know that this movie is flawed, but this movie as a whole rises above the flaws of its part and for that reason I give it an A also Frozen>BH6>>Lego>HTTYD2>Tangled>>>WiR
  12. I am indifferent to skye. I liked Fitz-Simmons, but post brain damage (not counting the first post brain damage episode) not so much
  13. I think Cinderella might need it more. It seems like it may lack the four quadrant appeal that Disney's previous live action fairy tales have had, and the short might give it the boost it needs to be profitable. Into the Woods I agree has a lower ceiling, but I also think it has a better floor. On the other hand I wish the short was in front of Into the Woods. I can't justify spending $7 to see a short
  14. Damn it I accidentally used the 7th instead on Nov 31 for the Friday with Ralph so I though it had a better increase than Ralph and Frozen for that weekend and was hoping it would therefore have a good Saturday I need to check my dates better before posting
  15. I think that BH6 will have a good Saturday bump with the good Friday bump. Its Friday increase was larger than Frozen and Ralph's of the same week. Come on BH6 get $8.5M its within reach.
  16. So about an $8.4M weekend for BH6 and about 22.9-23M weekend for MJ1 following frozen and CF
  17. My guess is that the scheduling took place before DWA's decline became obvious and they didn't want to change it because they thought Penguins could hurt BH6.
  18. I don't think they can move the show though. Also with the creators and the network being from the same parent company, the show may not receive the same funding, since they would not care about the Marvel movie promoting potential. Unfortunately Disney doesn't own a network on which this show would fit other than the one its currently on.
  19. These are the Friday numbers MJ1-$23.2M Penguins-$8.5M HB2-$5.8M BH6-$7.4M Interstellar-$7M DaD2-$3.6M
  20. Rth has not forsaken us Rth works in mysterious ways and if we hold on to our faith he will shine his light and clear away our ignorance of the numbers
