I still very much think that F8 should do well above 1B OS to secure the 2nd spot WW and considering that it should have shorter legs than F7 around the world i don't think it's a far strech to say that BaTB may very well end up being the one following SW8.Again,BaTB still has what should be a hige run in Japan and still some life in current markets ,which can ultimately take it to a fibal take a bit above 1.2B.

Although i hated the film with passion(still do) it's undeniably a monster!Incredible run already. The question is...will it make more more than BaTB worldwide for the crown of the second highest grossing film of the year-not named Star Wars? F8 will obviously kill BaTB internationally but give it a bit shorter legs in many territories than F7 and a DOM total well below BaTB...it's a real race.BaTB now sits at 1.04B without Japan and it still has some life left in the countries that it's already playing.If F8 manages 1B OS,fueled by China,...it's still up in the air.

Having seen it and based on your track record,there is a chance you will be dissappointed(judging by others who liked the franchise better than me...i hated F8)

What did you think of the previous movies?

This needs to get a great OW hecause o don't see the multiplayer beinf very good.Guardians 2 is coming to chop this legs.It literally has 2 weeks to make as much money as it can.

If OW numbers around the globe are anything to go by then BATB has a legit shot of being the 2nd highest grossing film ww in 2017.Still thinking that F8 will,sadly,come above BATB but at least now it's a race.Hopefully,BATB will kill it in Japan next weekend.

I like each new entry less than the previoua because o felt they were all the same(though o don't remember which is which).I though all 3 were a good one-and-done deal for an evening at the cinemas.Maybe even lime the earlier entries after Tokyo Drift,which i hate.I was growing more and more indifferent as the series peogresses.

The word "hate" doesn't even begging to describe my feelings for this movie.I guess you can go and watch it if you are a fan of the franchise but ultinately is by far the worst experience i had in a theater in the past year(and i was unlucky enough to catch Passengers on cinemas as well) so i definetly would not recommend it to anyone (maybe to the guy that kicked my dog for no reason the other night).Diesel is probably the worst actor ever,the old cast is doing absolutely nothing to even get you a tiny bit interested for any of the characters and the new cast is totally wasted.Dumb plot(but i expected that),dialogues that sound that were written by a grown-ass man stuck in his childhood and action sequences we have seen a million times over(even within this franchise).And it's not like this film tries to do anything new.It sets a story that you think will be the foundations of new story arcs but the film ultimately goes to explored territory and becomes the soulless and bombastic drama Universal is shoving down our throats ever since Fast 4 (seriously you can rent and play any previous film in the franchise and it will be like you watched it.Not only you will save money but you will also save yourself from the headache that follows after hearing countless car explotions that apparently the directors thinks is "filmmaking".)There is seriously nothing i liked about it. Grade : F-uck it

And Japan is still to come?Considering that it has like 100m still left for current markets,if Japan overperforms then a total above Frozen is possible.

I think they overestinate BB but good for it.

Current markets should make BaTB the highest grossing Disney live-action to date.If they get it to 1.07B then Japan should get it to 1.15-1.2B...soooo close to Frozen.

500M is not dead.If it keeps falling by 50% or little more on wkns thwn the film will have 460M+ from weekends alone in the next month.Can't weekdays get it to 500M?And dollar theaters will smooth the drops.

Holy smurf...BB and BaTB are really gonna battle it out for the top spot.Both arelooking at 25+M though which is great.

I can't explain why but lately i've been catching myself wanting to see this and hoping it will break out.Maybe because Ritchie only let me down before once or twice (Man from UNCLE was probably the mot fun i had in the theater in 2015)Also,Berges-Frisbey is one of the most beautiful human beings i have ever seen.

Yeah Brazil is very impressive.Where do you think it will end up?Does it have a claime to the highest grossing movie of the year title there?Will F8 stop it?

The China number(and to the same extend the UK and Brazil) number is indeed mindblowing...and that is putting it midly.BaTB had a lot going against it like competiton(kong),being a musical(which Chineese audiences despise),not having huge actions set pieces(which Chineese audiences love) etc. As BaTB is not a big comodity there i do believe that Watson's popularity helped it there.

Rember when i told you 1B by April 10th?I was damn close.It should do it by Easter though and well before it opens in Japan.Bye Bye Frozen!

F&F is not a domestic monster and easter is coming up so more families will be going to the theaters.

So a Batgirl film has been greenlit by WB with Whedon set to direct.With the numbers that BaTB is pulling i wouldn't be suprised of Emma got the offer.

Yeah but there's another family film out there with better reviews,great wom and appealing to multiple generations.

As a longtime Harry Potter fan i couldn't be happier for Emma.
