  1. What's the % weekend drop for AoU looking like?
  2. My thoughts are $1.42-52B (results from adding all the minimums are all the maximums below). NA: $450-480M OS - (China + Japan): $690-710M China: $260-290M Japan: $20-40M
  3. Oh yeah... lol... so it'll surpass Transformers 3 by Sunday. $1.14B
  4. Weekend could be something like $77M in China and $35M from the rest of the world for a total just over $1.1B.
  5. HOLY SHMOLY!!! I hadn't realised it. To be fair, the site was suffering ever since Brandon Gray left (his departure was not necessarily the cause but if anything, it indicated there was something fishy going on). That as well as the closing of the Box Office Mojo forums was a bad move. But OMG, this is just unbelievable. I read the weekend report this week but didn't notice the author. However, I was quite disappointed with the title (Ultron Hot, Pursuit Not) which was just copied from other entertainment websites' weekend reports.
  6. By the way, when is that annoying Subers guy gonna make a AoU vs FF7 showdown in BOM. He's abandoned the site completely in the last few weeks, only writing a weekly weekend report.
  7. It's a shame for AoU. It could've made way more with better exchange rates. On the other hand, the same stands for FF7 which is in contention to win the mega-blockbuster battle.
  8. $34M Tuesday is still quite good but didn't break TASM's record (in NA). If it can make about the same as Furious 7 on Wednesday, that will be solid since a big drop on second day is expected. But after that it needs to rebound and earn more than FF7 during the 3-day weekend.
  9. Why is boxoffice.com saying it made $32.48M incl. midnights? How "early" is that estimate?
  10. Basically as long as its daily totals stay ahead of Furious 7, it has a chance at $300M. For tomorrow, it must make more than 137M yuan.
  11. But they were only 2 weeks apart in NA. BvS and Cap 3 are 6 weeks apart.
  12. Bottom line: biggest Tuesday gross (even without midnights) and biggest non-weekend single day (even without midnights). The potential to cross $300M is there; I hope it becomes reality.
  13. Nah, they're 6 weeks apart. Such a move would make thwm look very bad.
  14. Is that for the whole day or as of a specific time? Update: Ignore this question. Was a mistake.
  15. So I guess since it's a work day, most people r going to the later shows so the 120M figure should at least double?
  16. English-speaking world performs well on comedies but other parts of the world don't.
  17. If Disney released Dead Man's Chest in China, it wouldn't count as a re-release (DMC was never released there) and it could definitely earn $100M or more.
