Shazam doesn't really count as its just another film in the DC series. Somehow I don't think the 6 million dollar man film is gonna be the one to do it next year lol. I would like to see that succeed though, not sure what kind of budget the movie is. WB actually has a really strong lineup next year. Lego Movie 2, which should do much better than Batman. Godzilla 2, should be on par with the first one. Minecraft not sure if that is gonna happen but if it does, could be similar numbers to Angry Birds I would think? Then they also have Shazam, Wonder Woman 2, and It 2. should be a decent year.

why would incredibles 2 make more than finding dory? Nemo adjusts to 517M. Incredibles adjusts to... 385M. It will be much closer to monsters inc 2.

3D makes the film look worse, it makes the film look darker, you have to wear stupid glasses, and depending on where you sit it may make the film physically not work for your eyes. I am very glad 3D has died. If James Cameron can genuinely find a way to do it without glasses then I am completely open to it, although again it would need to be very good to not look daft. The perspective is just not right in most 3D movies. People have been trying to make 3D movies work for about a hundred years now and to no avail. It is not going to happen. Just my opinion

its legs were fine when those movies came out, anyway the bulk of any films gross is in its first few weeks not 4+ weeks out... you really cannot blame films that came out a whole month later, as the reason for it underperforming.

nah. Its late legs were not the problem. It made 50 through the holiday a month after it opened - I'd say late legs were fairly good. It opened much much lower than most pixar movies and was just a weaker film throughout its run. Its legs were fine, it had a 4x multi from the 3-day and 3x multi from the 5-day. Inside Out had Jurassic World and Minions against it during its run so you can't blame Coco's performance on Ferdinand lmao

Take China out and OS is at 140M against US 100M. If US manages 60M more then OS would make 85. 85+60+ 25 more in China as you say? = 170. 30 in Japan is unlikely. I think it stops short of 600M.

Depends how you view it, none of the critics issues seem to come from anything related to the game, the same cannot be said for Tomb Raider / Warcraft / AC etc
