Alice was coming off Depp's box office smash hit Dr Parnassus which grossed a mighty 7.7 million. Public Enemies and Sweeney Todd were both bombs as well. What exactly was Beauty and the Beasts' "hook"? It has the same appeal as any other live action fairy tale

I have always thought Titanic is soppy crap, I've seen it several times over the years on DVD, TV etc and have never understood what everyone was so ecstatic about. But I just saw it in a cinema as I thought I'd give it another try.... and I finally got it. On the big screen it just made sense. It was kind of magical, otherworldly. I loved it. Very glad to rewatch things sometimes and always good to see a movie in the place it belongs.

I'm in my seat at a Showcase for the first time. This is fab. Also tickets are cheap. Comfy recliner seats, everything is plush and clean. Why can't all cinemas be like this?!

Three Billboards and Baby Driver gonna be on my list, can't think of any other 2017 movies that could be on there.
