Do you guys think Pixar is going the Toy Story route with the 3rd installment having a considerable time jump? I‘m sure Pixar has something like that in mind for the sequel, otherwise they‘d have already done that in I2.
I never believed when people said they expected a bit more from Toy Story 3 back in 2010, it was the #1 movie of the year after all. But I2‘s bo performance keeps me thinking....

False Alarm apparently, only a movie set in Mos Eisley has been put on hold.
I‘m enjoying it way more now, the new theme is my favorite from the soundtrack, all these costumes are awesome, the humor is growing on me, although I still don‘t like the Fathiers. I get it, the scene isn‘t perfect, the same with Bespin in ESB.
Why downplay a movie? I‘d say every movie did quiet well, maybe TLJ‘s audience reception will get better over time like it was for ESB, if not that‘s okay. I love it and I liked the 2 last Mervel movies.
Luke‘s end-off was perfectly executed in the movie, I couldn’t have asked for a better ending of his arc. Lecturing his nephew with wisdom and spirituality rather than fighting, paying the ultimate price the keep the spark alive to become the legend Rey and the galaxy need him to be.
The movie is widely adored by many, and hated by a sizable amount of people as well. I personally love this movie, I watched it yesterday again for the first time at home in 4k and it was glorious. And The Director And The Jedi docu makes it even better.
